For the cost, the features of this download manager are slim. EmFTP Professional is able to download several files simultaneously and with little effort, yet it cant resume interrupted transfers. While the program supports SSL (secure socket layer) and is able to synchronize local and remote folders, its lacking in other advanced features. You are not able to browse FTP sites while transferring files, for example. The program interface is fairly clunky, and a free-floating download progress window annoyed us during testing.
